What is the Bridgerton Aesthetic Called?

Bridgerton Family Book Series Complete Books 1 – 8 Collection Set by Julia Quinn NETFLIX

The Bridgerton aesthetic is often called “Regency era” or “Regencycore.” Elegant and romantic elements characterize it, such as pastel colors and floral patterns. It also draws inspiration from the era’s tea parties and other social gatherings, with fine china, tiered trays of tiny sandwiches and pastries, and lush garden settings.

This lavish look was made popular by the Bridgerton series on Netflix, which is based on Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton books.

Simple Bridgerton Nail Polish

Olive & June has a collection of “high tea” inspired colors that came out at the time of one of the releases of the Bridgerton seasons and totally matches the aesthetic.

Cucumber Sandwich is a super fresh, cool green. It’s one of the most unique shades of green nail polish I’ve seen, and the name is spot on.

Jam, Please is a glowing soft magenta.  It’s one of my favorite shades of all time. This spring nail color is just perfectly bright and perfectly purple. It also works well on both fingers and toes! For this reason, I love it as a great nail polish for the beach.

The Queen Takes Her Tea with Milk is a neutral mauve sheer. This popular shade is really versatile. It gives your nails that polished look while being really subtle, and it layers extremely well, both on its one (try one, two, or three coats), and with other types of polish. Top it with the ever-popular iridescent Pink Goldfish or as part of a glazed donut nails look.

Strawberry Scone is a pink sheer that can be considered the baby pink version of The Queen Takes Her Tea with Milk. You can play around with layering this one too.

You’re Invited is a playful lilac purple. It reminds me of the wisteria that is so characteristic of the Bridgerton aesthetic.

Easy DIY Press-On Bridgerton Nails

Below are references to tab and glue press-ons. Tabs are stick-ons that last up to seven days, while glued press-ons can last up to fourteen days.

Floral Doodle Tab Press-Ons is a light blue mani accented by white flower doodles. Its length is short, and its shape is round.

Floral Tip Tab Press-Ons is a neutral mani with lavender blooms at the tip. Its length is short, and its shape is round.

Micro Floral Glue Press-Ons is a fun floral print on a dark navy base. This pretty print is short and round, and it sold out insanely fast when it was released.

Pastel Rainbow French Glue Press-Ons is a subtle pastel French mani on a milky white base. It is medium in length and oval in shape.

Rose Bouquets Glue Press-Ons allows you to give your mani all red rose bouquets. There are beautiful feminine pinks in this print too! Its length is short, and its shape is squoval.

Why You’ll Love Olive and June

Olive & June is known for their SUPER long-lasting nail polish (along with their bestselling top coat). You can achieve a salon-quality manicure at home for a fraction of the cost.

I started using Olive & June’s mani system when COVID hit, and I never went back to the salon again.

Now, I dive into my kits every Friday night at exactly 5 p.m. with an audiobook and a glass of wine.

Olive & June also boasts the following accolades:

  • vegan products
  • cruelty-free products
  • non-toxic products
  • Press on nails from 94% post-consumer recycled materials and non-damaging glue
  • Allure Best of Beauty winner (cuticle serum and nail polish remover pot)
  • woman-owned business

A few quick tips about Olive & June’s press-ons:

You can cut the press-on nails, shape them, and even paint on them. They aren’t too “fake” looking either, and I was even stopped several times at the grocery store the last time I wore the French manicure style! They are fairly easy to remove.
