How The Literary Lifestyle® Helps You
Despite my lifelong love of reading, I’ve also struggled at times with common problems like how to find the time and energy to read when you are really busy and how to decide what to read next (especially in those pre-social media days).
Over the years, I’ve solved these problems for myself and now, I share all my best tips right here with you so that you can get the most out of your literary lifestyle too.

Education and Experience
A former lawyer for 15 years, I now run The Literary Lifestyle® (Est. 2019) full-time.
The first time I read felt like a superpower, and that feeling has driven my life.
Upon graduating from Scranton Prep High School as an advanced placement English student, I received the Vincent J. Vanston Award for excellence in the literary arts.
As a University of Scranton student and summa cum laude graduate, I had an English minor and membership in the Sigma Tau Delta (English) Honor Society.
Thereafter, I earned a juris doctor degree at Villanova Law School, where I honed my research and writing skills.
Since 2015, I’ve cataloged 1,000+ personal book reviews on GoodReads. I also serve as an advanced review copy reader with NetGalley and numerous publishers.
Now, I read 100+ books of all types per year, from classics to current bestsellers, especially the books on the Gilmore Girls reading list. My essay about it was published in the book But I’m a Gilmore!
I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my husband and two cats. I’m a reader of literary fiction and epic family sagas, an introverted homebody, a classic-style lover, a mostly vegan eater, a Philly sports fan, and a Trader Joe’s enthusiast.
