Perhaps nothing says “Audrey Hepburn” more load or clear than a black dress. She is most known for the stunning Givenchy dress she wore in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
I’ve collected a few low to mid-range options for you here, which are simple and modest. I always find the key to be the bateau neckline. Sheath and short A-line fits are also so Audrey.
Audrey Hepburn Wedding Dress
Audrey Hepburn was married twice in real life, but she is actually most known for the bateau neckline wedding dress she wore in Funny Face. (Perhaps because it had the neckline she wore most often throughout her life and career.)

Audrey Hepburn Shoes / Flats
Lucky for our feet, Audrey Hepburn was known for wearing ballet flats! There’s no “break in” time with these kinds of shoes. They go with everything, and they are always in style.

Audrey Hepburn also very often wore capri and/or ankle-length pants. They showed off her feet for her beloved hobby of dancing! These are my favorite brands for timeless capri / ankle pants.
First, these specific J.Crew pants are bestsellers, reasonably priced, true to size, and really stretchy. I love wearing them to work.
Second, these specific Spanx pants are worth every penny. These pants are bestsellers for a reason! they are extremely smooth, comfortable and flattering. Did I mention they pull on? I size up in these pants.
Audrey Hepburn Tops
For tops, Audrey Hepburn most often wore button-down oxford blouses and boatneck and bateau necklines. My favorite retailers for these basic products are J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Vineyard Vines.
But, you also want to miss this steal from Amazon.
Audrey Hepburn Makeup
Audrey Hepburn’s makeup generally includes matte foundation, thick brows, black liquid eyeliner, and a bold lip. Start with your favorite foundation, since all of our skin is so different. I have linked my favorite Anastasia eyebrow powder and my favorite Stila black liquid eyeliner for you to expand the look.
Top it with my absolute favorite Tarte lash primer and mascara for lashes that really pop. The primer makes a HUGE difference, and the mascara is very lengthening, separating and volumizing without looking fake. I swear by it.
Lastly, wear a bold, matte lip in a shade that suits you. Audrey wore a variety of shades, not necessarily bright red. So, I have linked this cult favorite Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, which comes with a lip liner and three very flattering shades. I find these shades to be the most flattering and universal ones I own — that’s why I selected them for your Audrey Hepburn look as well!
